Some of the art stuff for college

We have to make a personality "box" based on Joseph Cornell's work.

I am customising an old book, and I'm going to make these into pages, then sew buttons/beads to them. Then we have to take photos of them, and for the photos I'm going to have loads of photos sticking out from the book.

The writing and drawings are by my Great Grandma, in a book that her and her friends drew in and wrote poems and recipes. I used one book as the background and placed the paintings on top of it on photoshop.

Tom Robinson

My lecturer showed me this guys work, and I love it so much! I really want to travel and take photos everywhere and of everything, the people, the place, the surroundings, this world is too beautiful not to do that!

Take a look if you want to be in awe of what this world has to offer!

Urbanears Headphones

More practise product shots. I might use the bottom one as my final image.

Pentax K1000

For the current project at college, we have to do a product shot, so these are just practising with the studio/set up/lights etc.

Tears For Fears

My friend wrote something on her tumblr blog, saying how crying is a weird human reaction to something we don't like. When you think about it, it is so weird that our eyes flood, face goes red and we blubber like babies. So the next time I cried (over something silly) I decided to take a photo of it. Maybe to observe this weird human reaction, but it kind of feels like a reminder to stop crying over silly things.

Cross Processing Effect

I was just wandering around one day taking photos. None of them were that great. So I used a cross processing tutorial on them, to see if it made them look any better. I think it did. I like this effect a lot.
The last photo is an old one, but I used the same effect on it. So old photo, new edit.

Pin Hole Effect

I asked about pin hole photography at college, and my lecturer told me about a way to create the effect for a digital camera, so I drilled a hole into the body cap of a camera, put tin foil over the hole and put a pin hole in the tin foil. I think it looks pretty good.

I am still interested in how to make a pin hole camera though. I have seen it when people make them out of empty cans or cardboard boxes. If anyone knows how to do it, please let me know!
